I adore comedian and actress Miranda Hart. She’s awkward, funny, intelligent and the kind of woman I’d love to be friends with. Or at least that’s the public persona she has created and which the country has fallen for in the past couple of years. It was announced a couple of days ago that she’ll be writing an advice book for young people focusing on the horrors and pitfalls of growing up. The book is due for release in October 2012 and at the moment we can only imagine the contents – lots of self-deprecation and funny anecdotes of awkward incidents in her youth. I don’t know how useful it will be for teenagers but I know at least one 30-something who’ll look to Miranda for tips on how to survive the scary world.
Well, I’ve never heard of Miranda Hart … maybe because I’m not a young person!! ACk! I’m getting old.
Miranda Hart is a British comedian and writer. She’s awkward, accident prone, not glamorous. And one of the funniest people on UK TV at the moment. I hope her work reaches you soon.
