Sad news – Academy Award winning actress Celeste Holm has died at the age of 95. Awarded the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1947 for her role in Gentleman’s Agreement Holm is best known for her roles in All About Eve, High Society and a fun cameo as Ted Danson’s mum in the 80s comedy Three Men and a Baby.
Holm starred in one of my favourite films of all time High Society and with Frank Sinatra performed one of the most joyous and memorable numbers, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? I’ll watch the film again soon and raise a glass to one of the Hollywood greats.
