One of the films I’m most looking forward to seeing this year is David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s novel The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo starring Daniel Craig. Images and potted biographies of the main characters have now been released and I particularly like the look of Robin Wright as Erika Berger and Embeth Davidtz as Annika Blomkvist.

Have you seen the original trilogy? Quite liked it myself although the second and third movies were made for TV and you can see the difference. Usually don’t like remakes, but this one might be better than the original….
I really want to see this since I loved the trilogy. But I’m a little leery about watching the first one in the theater because of a certain scene. At home I can fast forward through it but in the theater I’ll have to have my hands over my eyes. I have seen the original Swedish film versions and I hope the second one gets remade because it’s my favorite book out of the series and the film was just subpar.
