One of the great things about the rise of social media is that it allows smaller authors and filmmakers the opportunity to promote their work without relying on big-budget publicity campaigns. I’m always keeping a look out for news of new books and films that might otherwise fall below the radar. Director Henry Scriven contacted me today to let me see the trailer for his new film How To Become A Criminal Mastermind, a comedy about an unemployed young man who decides to hire a crime coach to help him get back on track.
Both the concept and the trailer really appealed to me and I’m looking forward to hearing more about this film as it finishes the post-production process and is released. I’ll keep you all updated on the news on How To Become A Criminal Mastermind – I have high hopes for it. I’ve watched the trailer several times now and still giggle at the jokes.
