J. Edgar Trailer

We’re now well into the back half of the year and it’s time for the Oscar contenders to start rearing their heads and making their pitches for glory.  Clint Eastwood’s latest assault on the Academy is J. Edgar, a biopic of J. Edgar Hoover, the first director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  Leonardo di Caprio stars as Hoover and by the looks of the first trailer he’s a shoe-in for a Best Actor nomination.  Not only does his performance look impressive but he also gets to age dramatically throughout the course of the film.  Ugly-ing up is a sure-fire way to impress the voters.  Let me know what you think of the trailer.
