Anything Melbourne can do, Glasgow can do better. Following my recent review of The Ballad of Des and Mo, a feature film made in just 72 hours, I heard about a project for film-makers in Glasgow which challenged them to conceive and make a short film in just 48 hours for showing at the Glasgow Film Theatre. The project was a great success with more than 40 entries which were met with great acclaim by audience members including industry professionals scouting for new talent. A number of films garnered project awards including the prize for Best Special Effects which was won by Tu Regalo (Your Gift). Tu Regalo was created by Bald Monkeys, led by David Brodie….
